Medieval Christmas Market - Munich
Today we went into Munich to do some shopping before heading to Italy on Monday. It was -10 deg C so very very cold - our new snow boots came in handy. In the evening we went back into the city and met up with a friend from school to go to the Medieval Market. It was great fun. There was a live band playing and lots of interesting stalls and hot gluhwein and hot food. There was also lots of things for sale such as crossbows, swords, armour and other items which we now come to expect at a Medieval Market. We had some Gluhwein which they poured whiskey on top of and set alight. It was very warming which was good considering it had now got down to -14 degrees.
Just a quick note to say that if you click on any picture it opens it up bigger.
Frohe Weihnachten!!
