Austria

We finally got to leave at 16:00 on Monday night. We drove for 2 hours until we got to a small town called Schwaz but there was no room at the inn so after trying a few places we drove to another town called Wattens which is the home of Swarovski crystal. The town was small but well lit up. We had dinner in an Austrian hotel. The problem here is that unlike Germany and Italy you are allowed to smoke in restaurants and smoke they did. We were the only non smokers in a full restaurant. The food was great and like all good German food - large portions!!

The next morning we drove to Hall in Tirol and spent an hour or so having breakfast and walking through the town before heading off to Italy.
