More Christkindlmarkt - Munich

Today we woke up to frost everywhere and it was -2 degrees.


The days are getting quite short so after school finished 4 of us went into Munich for some sausages and gluhwein. We went to an English bookshop first - it was so nice to walk around and all the books were in english! Then off to Marienplatz (centre of town). We had foot long bratwurst for dinner followed by gluhwein.



To top all this off we had fresh fruit covered in a light toffee - YUM. We then went and looked at the pretty Christmas window displays before heading home. Not a late night but due to the fact it is dark by 5, it felt like we had a big night out.
