We headed north from Bologna with
our destination Brescia for the start of the re-enactment of the historic
Mille Miglia race. In keeping with the day’s theme, we passed close by the Ferrari,
Lamborghini, Maserati and De Tomaso factories. Arriving in Brescia, we battled
with an “automatic” underground silo parking station and then caught up with a
group of Ross’s car colleagues from Melbourne. The afternoon was spent mesmerized
by the 451 amazing machines on display, interspersed with a bit of beer and a
lot of bulldust.
